Michael joined the Kelman-Lazarov team in May 2010. His primary focus is assisting the financial planning/client services team. In addition, he serves as the office’s technology manager, maintaining and updating our website and office programming.
“Getting to know our clients is by far the most rewarding aspect of my job,” Michael says. “Understanding their goals and concerns is as important to me as understanding what their investment strategy should be. Ultimately, sitting across from a client with a clear understanding of that person gives me a sense of accomplishment. Because at that point, I can feel confident that I’m helping K-L make the best decision on behalf of each client.”
Michael received his B.A. in Psychology with a concentration in Industrial & Organizational Psychology from the University of Tennessee-Knoxville in 2010 and his M.B.A. from Christian Brothers University in 2015.
Michael and his wife Cara are huge football fans and support the Memphis Grizzles, but diverge when it comes to college ball – Cara cheers for Michigan while Michael sports orange in favor of Tennessee. They enjoy the Broadway productions at The Orpheum as well. An avid gym goer, Michael makes sure to get a workout everyday at 5:00 a.m. and would love to run the New York Marathon one day.
